The projector shows a different screen than my laptop
On Windows press Win+P and choose "Duplicate" (same on both) or "Extend" (drag the display screen to the projector). On macOS, open System Settings → Displays and arrange the screens.
The edges of the timer are cut off
Set the laptop resolution to the projector's native resolution and disable overscan on the projector. The fullscreen display will fill the image correctly.
My phone has no HDMI port
Use a USB-C to HDMI adapter for a wired connection, or plug a Chromecast / TV stick into the projector and cast wirelessly instead.
The timer is too small on the projected image
Press "F" on the display screen to enter fullscreen — digits scale automatically. On extend mode, make sure the display window is on the projector screen before going fullscreen.
Yes. Use "Extend" mode, keep the controller on your laptop screen, and drag the display screen to the projector. Both stay perfectly in sync.
Realtime sync between controller and display needs a network. The Quick Timer itself keeps running offline, but plan for Wi-Fi or a personal hotspot if you use two devices.
Any projector with an HDMI or VGA input works with a cable. Projectors with a TV stick or built-in smart platform can also receive casts.
