AirPlay

How to Cast with AirPlay

Perfect for Apple users. If you have a Mac or iPhone paired with an Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV, mirroring takes just two taps.

For Mac

Make sure your Mac and the AirPlay receiver (Apple TV or smart TV) are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar, then click Screen Mirroring.

Select your TV or Apple TV from the list. The Castimer viewer page will appear on the big screen.

For iPhone or iPad

Open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner.

Tap Screen Mirroring and select your AirPlay device.

Open the Castimer viewer link in Safari. The fullscreen timer will display on your TV.

HDMI / Wired

How to Display via HDMI Cable

The most reliable option. HDMI gives you a rock-solid, lag-free display — ideal for conferences and live events where Wi-Fi may be unreliable.

1

Connect your laptop to the TV or projector

Plug an HDMI cable from your laptop to the display device.

2

Extend your display, don't mirror

Go to Display Settings and choose "Extend" mode. This lets you keep your control panel on your laptop while the timer fills the big screen.

3

Open the viewer on the extended screen

Drag the Castimer viewer tab to the external display and press F11 for fullscreen. Control the timer from your laptop.

4

Test before you go live

Always do a quick test to confirm the timer is visible and the colors look good on the big screen.
